History of JMCE

JMCE was established in the year 2008 under the aegis of Ragineeshwari Educational and Charitable Trust. The College is duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University-Chennai, JMCE has it own campus spread over 40 acres, located strategically in the Kanchipuram to Arakkonam State Highways. The campus is about 8 kms from Kanchipuram, 70 kms from Chennai and 26 kms from Arakkonam.

The JEI MATHAAJEE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (JMCE) is the outcome of the vision and initiative of one man "Kalvikkavalar" B.Bose. The wise vision of the Founder, that there is an inextricable link between education and prosperity, inspired the conceptualization of the JMCE for providing a solid base to the Technical Education in the state. Rare indeed are individuals in whom thought, speech and action are so fully integrated. His keen devotion to scholarly pursuits has given a new meaning to the concept of service to the cause of education.
